I had a very disappointing experience with Shal Lawyers, and I am compelled to share it here. My issues began from the outset.

I received several complaints from my real estate agent about Shal Lawyers' lack of responsiveness. Emails, calls, and text messages went unanswered, and despite leaving voice messages, I never received a callback. This lack of communication was a major red flag.

On the day of settlement, Shal Lawyers failed to complete several standard procedures as outlined by my bank mortgage agent. This oversight led to numerous calls and texts during my office hours to resolve the issues, leaving me uncertain whether the settlement would proceed as scheduled. Although the settlement eventually occurred on the same day, the entire process was fraught with problems and unnecessary stress.

The situation worsened five months later when I received a $900 water rate notice. Shal Lawyers had neglected to settle this amount during the settlement process. As a result, I was responsible for this bill, which was due to be paid by the previous owner.

In the efforts to resolve this issue I sent multiple emails and texts to Shal Lawyers, all of which went unanswered. When I visited their office, I was refused a meeting with the solicitor, who was supposedly in an important meeting. After finally receiving a message saying that they would follow up with the vendor’s solicitor, no progress was made.

Ultimately, I had to pay the $900 myself to avoid further complications and ensure peace of mind. Even after waiting for over three months, there has been no resolution or response from Shal Lawyers.

In summary, Shal Lawyers displayed poor communication, lack of work ethics, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction. My experience was extremely frustrating and left me with zero confidence in their services.
