I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Shand Taylor Mooloolaba for advice and preparation of my will and enduring power of attorney. The advice that I received was poor and I was pushed into the more expensive option of a testementary trust under a fixed fee agreement before it was satisfactorily explained. It was not possible to change this and consequently was invoiced for over $2000 for a job that was not completed. They are bullies and I would highly recommend steering clear of this practice!

Have been a loyal client with Shand Taylor, now writing this review with great big disappointment and unpleasantly surprised. Quoted work was not completed, yet got charged 90% of the bill. Director saying this is "fair" and advising "this is how commerce works". Lawyer had to seek advices from director every question and costs reflected on client (me). "A significant discount was provided to you up front" - sorry, rates weren't even provided up front, where did the discount come from? Spent thousands with this firm and now tripping myself over. Understand a small business like us is not your ideal clientele, but relationship goes a long way.

Costs for our estate matter came in at more than twice the upper end of the amount originally quoted. Challenge to the bill was simply met with the response "unanticipated matters" and no significant discount was offered. Extremely disappointing.
