I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this clinic. I was charged $180 — double the standard fee — simply for going over 15 minutes, with no warning or mention during the appointment. I wasn’t made aware of the extra charge until I went to pay, which felt deliberately deceptive.

Even worse, I requested a copy of my own blood test results, and they told me I couldn’t have them unless I booked another $90 appointment just to “discuss” them. It’s outrageous to suggest that a patient doesn’t have access to their own medical information without paying extra. It feels more like a money grab than healthcare.

I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this clinic to anyone who values transparency or basic respect for patient rights.

Went to this clinic for the first time for an annual pilot flight medical today and the resident Designated Aviation Medical Examiner was probably the rudest & least caring member of the medical community that I have ever had the displeasure of meeting and for the first time in my career I actually terminated the appointment after the initial discussion with him. The clinic charges a sizeable deposit prior to the appointment along with double the fees of any other medical facility that I’ve visited in recent times. I’m not going to be in hurry to return there and would not recommend this clinic to any other aviation professionals on the Sunshine Coast.

I have to agree with the other remarks about reception staff but today the receptionist was amazing. Blonde hair and tattoos, she even made me laugh. Hopefully a change is on the way 🙂 my dr Dr Franny is amazing would highly recommend. Nurses are wonderful too… just receptionist staff typically weren’t as wonderful as everyone else but today… so wonderful. Thanks for making me smile.

I would never recommend seeing Dr. Robert Dudek. I attended the clinic on Saturday with my six-year-old daughter, who had neck swelling and tenderness. Our regular GP was closed, so we had no choice but to visit this clinic.

Dr. Dudek was extremely unprofessional. He barely even looked at my daughter, acted like we were wasting his time, and was visibly reluctant to examine her properly. He wouldn’t even touch her neck to check the swelling—it honestly felt like I was asking him to perform surgery just to get him to do a basic physical assessment.

We were sent away and told “there’s nothing wrong—just give her some Nurofen.” Fast forward to Monday morning, our usual GP took one look at her, properly examined her, and diagnosed her with a bacterial infection. She was prescribed antibiotics immediately.

This experience was incredibly disappointing and could have easily delayed important treatment for my daughter. I would not trust Dr. Dudek with my family’s care again

1 star as 0 was not an Option.

Receptionist was 8 minutes late back from a 1 hour lunch break, to then check in whoever whenever disregarding appointment times. To then state “usually we go off of appointment times but he was here first and I guess there’s been a mix up with the system” my 1pm appointment was then handed to someone with a 1:30pm appointment. (Clearly my fault for being on time) receptionist had a “too bad so sad” attitude and was quite frankly rude and obnoxious towards my partner upon paying for my appointment.

We had been waiting outside for them to reopen for 15 minutes, walked in and sat down as no one was at the desk only to have to wait an additional 20 minutes to see a doctor we had booked an appointment for half a week in advance.

Doctor was condescending and questioned the practice of my current GP who I would have seen had there been any availability.

Agreeing with 90% of other reviews this practice is awful. Reception staff awful and condescending Doctors who prefer to tick and flick then actually listen to your concerns.

Honestly a turtle with a stethoscope and two blind eyes could do more.

0/10. Never again.

No I will not email to discuss further.

I have been to this clinic a couple times now and every time I am extremely unsatisfied with the service. For starters the receptionists are rude and provide MINIMAL communication at the desk and on the phone. Last week when I came in the receptionist did not even look at me. In the many different times I have been to the clinic I have had a different doctor each time and I find they continuously turn me away without doing any investigations and then say to come back if it continues. And then when, to no surprise, the issue continues they expect another fortune for the same issue that could have been looked into in the first appointment. I will NEVER be coming back nor recommending to anyone else!!

Lazy and incompetent receptionists.
Took over 4 weeks for the practice to open a simple email about accessing medical records for an income insurance claim i was trying to process and a further 2 and a half weeks after payment for said records to be sent through to my insurer. Calls each week proved pointless as they just lied about where things were at till finally i visited the clinic in person only to be told the email was never opened, and request was never answered the whole time? The false info they told me over the phone is extremely unprofessional and should be worrying to all, the unwillingness they've shown to helping with such a simple request is unacceptable and by other reviews left this is clearly a problem with the clinics current staffing and it should be addressed.
Do better for for the community of Sippy Downs and your patient's for whom you have a duty of care to.

Yes, the wait can sometimes be frustrating. Buuuut, this clinic always has availability and the doctors seem very competent (my two children and I have seen MANY of the doctors at this practice over the last several years). A special mention goes to Dr. Mahalia Rose who went above and beyond with me today! Thank you, Dr. Rose!
