I recently engaged Smart Financial to assist with my grandmothers assets, investments, and overall financial strategy, and I can't speak highly enough of the experience. From the outset, Franz, Jake, and the entire team were incredibly friendly, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping my grandmother navigate some complex financial decisions.

They took the time to carefully assess the situation and developed a clear, strategic action plan tailored to her needs. What really stood out was how they laid out all the available options, complete with the pros and cons of each, allowing us to make well-informed decisions with confidence. Their advice was always clear, precise, and easy to understand — no jargon or confusion, just honest and thoughtful guidance.

I went for an initial consultation that cost me $180 for an hour of very poorly informed advice by Amanda. Although as a person, she was most pleasant and friendly, she clearly had either little understanding of investment through property OR had been instructed by the organisation to ignore investment through property and to focus on retirement avenues of superannuation. The plan she advised me was extremely simplified with little thought attached to it. If you are someone who has little understanding of finance and numbers you could be led very much astray by this advisor. The plan she told me she would do for me would cost $8,800!!! Perhaps she thought I was completely stupid, I have no idea! Then for me to have annual advice the cost would be 1% of my investments which could be very significant! Her advice, had I gone along with it, could have financially ruined me as I was later told by a very experienced and qualified accountant. My advice is to steer clear of this company…
