Back in 1995, I found myself in a worrying situation having invested in some so called tax minimisation schemes that later proved to be controversial & rejected by the ATO. My tax agent at that time financially benefited from my investments so
I sort help from Graham Smith who was a long term buddy & soccer mate.

Apart from initially giving me sound & logical advice, one of the first things Graham did was to introduce me to a trusted accountant whom today still handles my affairs.

The next move was to conduct a thorough review of my financial situation plus look at future investments based on the what risks I should/need to take. It didn’t take long for Graham to get me into a solid superannuation portfolio & to also to take out the necessary insurance policies.

Whilst I initially consulted just with Graham I now also have great working relationship with his sons whom I have known since they were little boys.

I was among Graham Smith's first clients when he first hung up his shingle in an office in Rokeby road in Subiaco about 20 years ago
He started out by disposing of all of my totally inept investment attempts and removed my meagre super fund from the clutches of its current manager and generally taught me a lot about the common sense rules of investment.
He set up a portfolio of shares with my rather small capital and I have watched it grow for 2 decades and reaped the benefit of regular good dividends.
My wife and I have been retired since the end of '94 and have lived comfortably ever since, and continue to do so, GFC notwithstanding.

My story starts way back in 2000...
My wife and I were low income earners we just had our first child and wanted to invest the government grant instead of wasting it we approached Smith Wealth Partners for help and after 16 long years we now have an extra $500.....
After 16 years they made a lot more money from fees than I did.
It is a shame the government took so long to stop this kind of scam.
These guys probably do a good job if you have hundreds of thousands of dollars to invest but if you are a small fry like me find some other way to invest.
