I had the unfortunate experience of working with Smythe, I came to see Suzanne as my solicitor, due to my property being a new build it took a few years and no contact was needed with Suzanne, however when closer to completion I could not reach Suzanne only to find out she had left and Christian was looking after me. As a client, you would expect to be notified of these changes. Upon dealing with Christian the communication was poor, non-responsive and had to leave a complaint with reception and only then contact was made and after this interaction it unfortunately didn't get better. Christian made me feel as though I should know all the solicitor lingo, making me feel stupid most times. During conversations Christian wouldn't let me talk or finish my sentences until I told him to let me talk. I didn't feel supported or guided, and he would shift blame to my bank, however my appointed home loan guy was the only person that supported and guided me during the process. The constant mansplaining, fast talking, and dismissiveness was a horrible 1st time purchaser experience. Christian has been helpful after settlement however I would recommend going elsewhere.
