Fantastic clinic with a few great doctors who are always thorough and attentive. I have my favourite three doctors here, and I’m always impressed with the level of care. The only downside is the reception area, sometimes the radio is too loud, and it feels like the staff have to talk even louder over it, which becomes so much I’d rather sit outside, especially when you’re not feeling your best. Please turn it down

I saw Dr Alam as a new patient on 18th December 2024, as I needed an urgent appointment and was unable to get in to see my regular GP until January. I found Dr Alam very approachable and helpful regarding my health issue. The reception staff were also most pleasant and efficient. Highly recommend this practice.

The girls on the desk are so helpful, professional & always do their best to make myself and my children at ease throughout every appointment.
Dr Alam has been my doctor from long before i had my children & has continued to provide the highest level of holistic care. He has always been reliable, understanding and continues to educate me with every health concern that has occurred.
Dealing with an ongoing chronic disease he really has gone above and beyond to help me.
He does not show judgement & has a gentle nature specifically when dealing with sensitive issues. I have the most confidence as his patient & recommend him highly.

Somerton Park Day and Night Medical Centre is by far the best place to go when I need a highly knowledgeable and caring doctor such as Dr Ranjeewa Pussellage and their fantastic nurse Kate. I know from other patients that also the other doctors are there for their patients with sincere care and interest. All the staff at the reception always greet you with a warm smile and they are all super friendly and helpful.
I can’t recommend this Medical Centre highly enough - it’s so refreshing to be in best hands that you can trust. Go team..! ?

The Drs are all nice enough, but the billing is extreme and the information can be misleading. I was told to book a Saturday appointment rather than a Friday appointment for a results phone call consult because it was likely to cost less as it was with the same Dr. Instead I was charged $90 for a 4 minute phone call (that came 15 minutes later than it was supposed to) and an electronic prescription. Other Drs in the area, such as Glengowrie Medical Centre, don’t typically charge for a short results consult and I’d recommend there before Somerton.

My first appointment today, everything went smoothly and my new Doctor was very good. I was happy with the overall experience and will return. My only criticism: a table in reception that's high enough to fill out "new patient" forms. I had to leave, find a Cafe and fill.out the paperwork on the table there! (There is only a very low set coffee table at the clinic)
