Stokes Hill Wharf offers a lovely waterfront setting, and the crocodile skewers were surprisingly tasty. However, we found the overall food prices to be on the higher side for what you get. Still, it’s a nice spot to enjoy a meal with a view—just be prepared to pay a bit more.

Love Stokes Hill Wharf! Line dancers, boats, fish & fireworks & and lots of food options. Fresh seafood, Mexican but the Indian is my favourite 👏 get the tasting plate & the authentic pani puri. The Vietnamese there also does fantastic beef in betel leaves, another 'must have' when visiting. Cold beer on tap from $7 it can be as cheap or as expensive as you like. Great place 👏👏👏👏 & family friendly. Lots of fish (alive) to watch also.

This is a very scenic area, but with a very few exceptions, little is open until 5 or 6 PM. The Royal Flying Doctors Museum is fun and informative, but not real big. Good to kill an hour or so. But unless you enjoy hiking, stay away until evening time. Don't forget there is a free shuttle to the wharf area.

Nicely done up area with lots of seats facing the water. Easy stroll from the CBD/ waterfront. Kids play area with locked doors for parents to sit and eat in peace. The choices are endless- fish and chippery, oyster bar, steakhouse, bars, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, seafood restaurant...

This was the first place I fell in love with when I first came to Darwin in 2010. The food is still great and growing and changing as all things do. The views are "to die for..." and the sunsets here are amazing. Wet season, dry season, build up or let down it's always a great place for locals and visitors alike to come to. Buy a drink, buy a meal sit down with friends and just relax. And that's without even mentioning its amazing history from the 1885 roughly until today. Including being... the home terminal of the Old North Australia Railway Line and being almost totally demolished during WWII! Sit back and dream.
