So glad I found this impressive wine shop! I am in the UK and my brother's in Sydney so it's great for ordering wine gifts on special occasions. Customer service is excellent - emailed Alex this morning and I had a response within a couple of minutes - gift sorted. Highly recommended.

Excellent range, focusing mainly on conventional Australian and French wines. If you're looking for natural wines (or beer!) this isn't the place for you. Prices are heavily discounted in a purchase of six bottles (mixed) often bettering the major retailers. I often get one special bottle and five quaffers.

I'd rate it 5 stars except the advice there is patchy depending on who's on at the time, and the "wine of the month" is generally no standout. Provided you know what you want though it's well worth a visit, and at the same time you're giving the big supermarket chains some much needed competition.

Great wine shop. So happy to have it as my local. The layout, if a bit random, forces you to explore and discover gems.

But, the service. Having shopped a dozens or so times I reckon I’ve collectively extracted maybe 50 words out of the team. And not a single smile.

Why am I leaving 4 stars? Because the product selection and vibe carry it. It’s one of those rare cases where not-great customer service can be excused.

Absolutely sick of the blatant racism I experience here. Tired of being the “nice customer”, being ignored, and treated poorly over the past 5 years. Sorry mate but the white Australia policy isn’t really a thing anymore. Nothing has improved and I’m not going back. I guess you value your outdated views over making a genuine sale to a paying customer.

Great little shop with an interesting assortment of wines, many that I'd never seen at chain stores. They have a good range of affordable bottles and are very helpful if you have trouble deciding.
