A nice atmosphere, very spacious inside. Has a bar and pokies at the left of the building for the adults, and a bistro to the right for all ages. It has carpet inside, with pictures and old news articles hung up. The inside is warm and very cozy.

I had the beef burger with chips. It had bacon, cheese, beef patty and lettuce in it with tomato and relish. The apple and cinnamon crumble I had for dessert, it was so delicious.
The food came out quickly, and the service was very friendly.

There wasn't any soap in toilette, which was a bit disappointing, but the toilets were very clean and spacious.

I would definitely come back here again.

Been there two times and disappointed both times. First time, food took over an hour and wasn’t worth the wait. Second time the manager on duty was rude and we decided to leave before even ordering food. It’s a shame that a small town with not many options for people to gather can treat customers with such disregard. The only good part, the open fire in the bar, hence the extra star for atmosphere.

Massive portions, if you're not a big eater order one meal to share!

Happened to be there at a really busy time and the acoustics are quite bad, recommend going at a quiet time if you don't find it easy to hear when there's lots of noise.

Big disappointment. Terrible experience.
Booked there for Mothers Day lunch after calling prior and confirming they had Gluten free pizza, pasta, separate fryer etc. Arrived to be told there was none of the above and to be served a beef patty, rash of bacon, slice of cheese and 3 small roasted potatoes.
Other meals were terrible and small portions too.
Definitely not going back.

Went there for lunch. No one at the counter. Had to ring the bell twice. Finally got the menu, then another long wait...had to ring the bell twice again so we could order.
Staff friendly, and the food was ok, however big improvements are needed on service. Also, the prices are high, and then add a 10% increase because it is Sunday.

Very disappointed with our experience with Magpie and Stump. Our party of 12 booked for Sunday Lunch. The first four meals came out swiftly then it all went downhill from there. 45 minutes later and we were still waiting for the remaining meals. We sat and watched as other patrons who arrived after us received their meals. The meals once served were ok. Total experience was disappointing, won’t be going back in a hurry.

Great little pub and atmosphere , food a bit pricey but all meals we've tried have been delicious , worth a stop in for a good feed and beverage

This place is our local and as always, the food never disappoints! Always a decent price and excellent service with very lovely staff. Beef filo was amazing 👏
