Great atmosphere, even better food, and exceptional owners and staff.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with really friendly staff and was showed our room by a really sweet worker who told us how to work everything. The room was really nice especially the high ceilings and the nostalgic touches. But the highlight of the room was the big tv which you usually don’t expect in a hotel room for $180. The food in the bistro was amazing as well, we ordered two rump steaks and both were delicious. I loved the asthetic of the building decor and the old touches of the building its self. 10 out 10 would recommend.

My daughter and son in law celebrated their wedding at The Family Hotel, both the service and the reception. Everything was perfect from the decorations to the food and service. A big thank you to Leah, Dan and all the staff you all went above and beyond. I would highly recommend you to anyone wanting to celebrate their special day or any occasion.

Super friendly and welcoming service. Amazing beef brisket burger. 10/10 recommend. And the salt and vinegar brussel sprouts are to die for (even if you don't like brussel sprouts!)

There really is something special about The Family Hotel. I’m from the city and love the concept of a country pub but there is a vibe here that brings it right on. The owners are the coolest. The food is great and the music scene is epic.

I recently stumbled across The Family Hotel in Maitland, and what a delightful find it was! From the moment our meal arrived, it was clear that the kitchen takes pride in their house-made elements. The fish and chips were delicious, complemented perfectly by their fresh, house-made tartare sauce. The loaded fries were a standout—absolutely amazing!

The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The new owners have truly stepped up, and the improvements they've made deserve to be recognized. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
