We have been to the garden bar and cafe
on other occasions and have always been impressed by the quality of the food and service
Unfortunately, on this occasion we only made it through the delicious entree to prawns and chorizo on olive oil and garlic with char grilled bread.
We were celebrating my husband's birthday but he was not able to stay due to increasing pain with his recent orthopaedic surgery.
The staff were very obliging packing up our main meals to take home to enjoy .
We only wish we could have stayed longer

What a wonderful place to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect. Food was excellent and well presented. Service was friendly and efficient. The spectacular weather and scenery just topped everything off. Can’t wait to come back and try some more cocktails. Thankyou.

First class food, first class service and such a beautiful outdoor eating area with a spectacular view. The scallops in passion fruit dressing were superb and our party of four enjoyed every morsel of our entree and mains. Unfortunately I’ve forgotten the name of our table attendant whose unobtrusive attentiveness deserves a special mention.

Birthday lunch for my mother in law. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate. Cannot fault the service or food. Highly recommend a visit. Worth the drive!! And cannot praise the staff enough! *chefs kiss*

We were lucky enough to be married at the Old Cheese Factory and the Garden Bar. Megan and her team went above and beyond to make our day, seamless, stress free and absolutely beautiful. Throughout our entire process for 14 months we have felt that we are in such safe hands. No ask was ever too much, and everything has been handled for diligently and professionally. We had tried to think of something constructive to say, but everything was so perfect and exceeded all of our expectations. We are so grateful to have had such an awesome team being our ideas to life. We can’t wait to re-visit this special place again to eat some more yummy farm fresh food, cocktails and enjoy that stunning view. Thank you again to Megan and everyone at the Garden Bar for everything you pulled together for us.

The food was excellent no doubt we had some of the monthly set menu and then of the main menu.
The service was friendly and it’s a lovely spot overlooking the river.
We had a crack at some cocktails and everyone enjoyed.
Good food is often not cheap and that’s the case here too!
