They represented me in commercial property matters with my business’s COVID lockdown retail lease dispute with my landlord around 2020/2021, and they were great for that.

However, when my marriage broke down in 2023 in no small part due to the consequent failure of my business the year earlier, my estranged wife engaged their principal family lawyer. This lawyer had no qualms at all in representing her in an extremely aggressive way, and then citing there was no conflict of interest when I brought it up.

I still wonder about this, even though they replied to my concerns with a cut and paste answer to the Queensland Law Society guide regarding conflict of interest,

This law firm hasn’t honoured their word/ agreement with me. They promised me a service initially. I paid accordingly. They issued me a very vague invoice, I didn’t object at a time as I trusted my lawyer and couldn’t think. Then I heard my lawyer left once I needed her. The company partner claimed that I got the service I paid for and cut me off the service. The truth is if my lawyer hadn’t left, I was still going to get the service , but as she left I was told I was given the service. The biggest nightmare I experienced at the very critical time .

Awful service, no respect, not trustworthy at all.

Not happy with the service!

We had no problem with payment for the service that we received but Mark Win demanded payment before any progression in the job and on request could not provide a professional itomised time based invoice to at least know what we are paying for. Subsequently he blocked another lawyer in their firm to finish our job!

I beleive they just want you to pay whatever they demand without any questioning or request for professional breakdown of time.
