I don't really understand why the 1 and 2 stars. They no longer have any customer service desks, and so on lvl 7 its a drop box. As long as you have filled out the forms correctly, and have also filled out the drop box forms, payment forms etc. You really should have no issues in lodging them. I dropped forms off when they opened at 9am and got a lodgment advice from them at 11am. I actually prefer this, as there is no waiting on queues, and as long as you have all the information they require, then its quite a simple process to follow. If there is anything you don't understand you give them a call, i waited on that phone call for a total of 6 mins before someone answered. They also have examples of completed forms, so there really should be no reason for you to even stuff that up too. I wished all of our government offices were drop box! Especially at the likes of Centrelink, Medicare, even the transport dept. Drop off and get the hell out of there! Easy Peasy!

Customers dealing with Titles Queensland have very tight deadlines due to contracts, yet Titles Queensland take a very long time to respond. In my experience even over 1 month is not long enough. Where I work if we haven't completed work we have 24/7 shifts and do overtime, 12 hour shifts and will work on weekends and public holidays to catch up. The delays are not acceptable especially when contracts of significant value are relying on this government agency to get the job done.

A matter was raised with this department as urgent, by several legal teams as well as the original lodgers and they failed to action anything in a timely manner, or within their normal processing times. Rather than email, call or fax the reason they were unable to process this now extremely urgent request, they POSTED in the mail their reasons why they can’t process the dealings and we all have to sit at wait before we can do anything. Now we are at risk of loosing both the home we are selling and the one we are purchasing. The incompetence of this department is incomprehensible.

what a diabolic excuse for a department that provides any form of service. if you have a deadline and you are relying on QLD titles, then lord help you. 1-2 days to screen the mail. then 14 days to process, issued a requisition and posted it back, no email or call. the requisition was laughable at best. if it was a private company and there was other options it would be out of business

After reading the overwhelming One star reviews..of Tites Qld and comparing them to our dealings with them I would concur with the Reviewers.
The Titles forms and in particular the Caveat applications are not fit for purpose as my solicitor stated. Titles QLD needs a complete review. Though the Government might disagree as it apparently raises an additional $140 million a year in Requisition Notices. That’s a hell of a lot of requisitions .. meaning they need to overhaul the entire process because it’s far too confusing . otherwise it is just a cash cow for government revenue .and more frustration for the people needing to deal with it .

Wow. How ridiculous is this place. No assistance when needed and they give your form "guides" that aren't even correct or complete. Make the smallest deviation from their guide and it's rejected, even though all the information is there.
A little more human contact would be great. Most of these forms are completed by people for the first time and just need to ask a question or two. It seems you thrive on creating more work for yourselves and your customers.

What a useless department. Incorrect forms that are out of date, contatictory and designed never to allow a person to conduct a transfer efficiently or correctly. The process is designed to fail the average person trying to conduct business in behalf of an Estate as an Excecutor. Disgraceful
