I went to this practice for help with a Domestic Violence matter. Scott, the Principal, was shockingly abusive, yelling at me, “You are a bad parent” I pleaded with him to stop as he was terrifying me. Other staff members consoled me, sharing their own and other clients’ experiences of being intimidated and abused by Scott. This place is dangerous—avoid it at all costs.

I went to Toronto Legal to see about having a document notarized. When I explained that my grandson has some very difficult special needs and having all of the adults present at once may be impossible, I was told "we have a bat in the back to take care of that." I was speechless and shaking I was so angry. The man I was speaking with obviously has no personal experience with family members with such challenges, and I hope he never learns first-hand what it's like. After he left the room and I calmed down enough to speak, I told the receptionist how I felt about his comments. She simply said, "Oh, he's just like that." Needless to say, we did not use their service and I would never be able to recommend them to anyone else.

They explained legal terminology to me that I didn’t understand and made me feel comfortable. I was very happy with my outcome and the cost of my family law case. As a person reading these comments, I'm just surprised by the people whom can't mention the time, date, name and etc
I feel that I have wasted my time reading these comments.
What keeping the bat behind the room means? Isn't that clearly a joke? I don't get it.
I have spoken to Scott Parker twice and I have found him knowledgeable about the court processes. He gave me loads of advices without asking to get paid. He is more into making a difference.
In the land of bureaucracy and idiocracy, where the lawyers mostly act like thieves, I would say that Scott is the man to pay a visit and worth the money.

I can not rate Scott and team at Toronto legal high enough, it's because of their knowledge, hard work and dedication , my daughter is safe living with me , during the two years process they made it very easy for my daughter and I and we can not thank you enough, you guys are awesome , truely grateful

We were hoping to use Toronto Legal for Notary services. While speaking with them about our family situation (we have a child with special needs), he said he had “a solution for that—he has a ball bat in the back here”. His staff said he was “just like that”. We’ll clearly never be back for any reason. What an outrageously offensive thing to say! In all our years as special needs parents, we’ve never experienced anything more offensive.
