You might as well go pay for your Ex's attorney, not only will it save you money but that way you will at least know that it will benefit someone other than Eric Johnson. Eric Johnson is a thief, he took around 8+k from me back in 2016/7. There is a reason why so many people are saying he is a terrible attorney. I was shocked to see he was still practicing, that is why i feel obligated to write a review to keep people away. He sat on my case and let it go on for months until i could no longer afford to pay him, Nothing got resolved, he did not satisfy any of his obligations he just sat back and collected a check. You can send me a message saying contact our office and we can talk about this or whatever your standard disagreement policy in response to messages but unless you are having me contact you in regards to get my money back don't waste your time. YOU ERIC JOHNSON are a THIEF and you know it. You are not fooling anyone on here.

I had to chase my daughter from Texas to Utah after a family abduction. Eric Johnson was able to get emergency orders from Texas entered into Utah District court in one day and I was able to get Utah Law Enforcement to assist in the recovery of my 8 year old daughter just a few minutes before she was transported from the state by strangers to an unknown location it GA. She was in grave danger of being lost for a very long time!
Eric charged me a very fair price. He was caring, knowledgeable and extremely effective!!! I wasted several hundred dollars on consultations with several other attorneys before I met Eric. The other attorneys wasted my time and tried to charge me more than 10 TIMES what Eric charged and they did not have half of his knowledge and ability! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I know the difference between right and wrong, but do not know the specific laws to pursue justice. I went to different attorney's and they pointed me in the wrong direction, causing me financial and emotional distress. Eric was not like the other attorney's he knew exactly how to pursue the case, along the way he had to deal with a difficult opposing counsel and repeated negotiations. The most amazing part of my experience with Utah Family Law is that if the case was idle, they do not charge.
If I would have pursued this case on my own, it would have taken years off of my life. You took a tremendous burden off of a single mom and her two children.
I wish there was a way to give Eric 6 stars.

I am wise enough, & deeply encourage YOU, to IGNORE reviews written by those clearly having a juvenile mindset ... making themselves recognizable by throwing in accusations regarding ANYTHING psychological, emotional (or claiming someone has mental deficits, lol!)

Those of us with sufficient intelligence & discernment recognize these accusations for what they are. Either:

Baseless attempts by someone trying to damage character of the one who beat THEIR lawyer in court. (We realize the stones they throw have ZERO base of truth - nobody has actual access to the medical records of others.? Claims including accused diagnosis ... ridiculous!)

Or;

The reviewer REVEALING his OWN personality. That type of accuse-and-degrade review-behavior is a giant RED FLAG of a narcissistic reviewer, whose motives are false & purely malicious.

If, by chance, (though HIGHLY unlikely!) the negative, one-star reviewer WAS actually a former client ... the narcissistic display will assure you of the REAL issue at hand: That person believes himself SO entitled ... that even the BEST representation could never have gained for him what the LAW does not ALLOW!

Attack. Degrade. Use cognitive, mental, psychological or emotional accusations. = Narcissistic reviewer. Be smart. IGNORE.

Of COURSE, Eric is not well-liked among other lawyers ... he is on YOUR side, not THEIRS or the clients whom THEY represent! (Come on, guys ... THAT is what you WANT! Especially in a HIGH- conflict domestic dispute!)

Eric is upfront about his mindset, personality and legal handling. If you are searching for a lawyer, it seems it should be instinctive to not only disregard juvenile, personally-accusatory reviews (toward ANY person or company) ... but to also actually READ the lawyer's personal statements.

Do that - & you'll KNOW immediately know whether he is right for you & your case! He is honest, and holds nothing back. Read HIS words ... then, if you go with him, you cannot be disappointed.

This is how you know Eric is a terrible attorney. I won my case. I feel like I won my case in spite of my attorney, not because of him. He dragged it on for over 2 years, was arrogant, belittling, and cost me thousands. Just 2 months after my case was closed, I had to go back to court and represented myself because he had neglected to file an important form. Your better off doing it yourself than hiring this crook. Also, notice how he responds to his bad reviews with accusations of being a legitimate person etc. where other firms respond far more professionally...... there's your sign. That's the treatment you get overall with Eric. Retain someone else.
