This is a lovely hotel with a great dining room.The staff is super friendly and this establishment is a busy hotel.The Pub is a little tired but the staff is very courteous and knowledgeable.The meals are high quality with big portions and this is excellent value for money.There is excellent Thai cuisine prepared by a Thai chef using fresh ingredients and it was a great pleasant surprise for us.The VIC Parmy Chips and Salad is a recommended dish.Definitely will come back given another chance

Great hotel. Wonderful dining room.
Friendly serving staff.
2 of us enjoyed our lamb shanks. Meat fell off the bone. Quick service till I ordered my dessert later. Very busy, so it took a while.

Went in to the bar to watch the footy. Asked them if they will put the footy on, he said maybe? Didn't put the footy on. Had a meal at the bistro, food was good, meals arrived 25min apart. When we left we saw they had put the footy on in the bar.
Good spot for a feed, lacks some atmosphere and bar service could be better

We met friends here for lunch as we were both passing through, Staff were very friendly, no one else in hotel so had it all to ourselves, clean and tidy inside. The meals we all had were tasty and a good selection on the menu and specials , I had the beef and black bean stir-fry with prawns, hubby had chicken parmigiana and chips, was a good serving also. Would certainly stop again

Wow! On our way home to Adelaide from The snow we stopped for the night in Ouyen. Very surprised to find authentic Thai cuisine at the pub. If you're passing through and dig authentic Thai, call past the Victoria Hotel.

This pub is obviously beloved by locals and it has a nice community feel. The Thai food is best I’ve had in ages, made by a Thai chef with fresh ingredients and delicate flavours. A wonderful surprise!

Conveniently located midway between the two motels in town.
Plenty of cold beer on tap.
Friendly staff.
Good menu with standard Aussie pub grub, and also a Thai menu.
We had the $60 'Thai Banquet'. Plenty of food for 2 people, including dessert and coffee.

Apparently since the new owners have taken over, even locals are confused these days as to when this place is open and when it is closed.

Stayed the night in Ouyen only to find that despite the hotel advertising the bistro as open, it was well and truly dark and closed. Absolutely nowhere else to go in this town for a restaurant meal if this hotel is shut so don’t bank on getting a table on any night. Make sure you call ahead.

Thank goodness for the lovely owner of the Ouyen Motel Raj who directed us to the Ampol Roadhouse next door. A mother and daughter effort, they cooked us up a great couple of healthy and very tasty meals. 🙏🏼

Otherwise it was going to be a very hungry and long night.
