Reccomended for payment help but the local Duty solicitor is a complete arrogant pig.
My son passed away, the police picked me up having a breakdown and refused bail for 6 days the duty solicitor judged me before the judge did, he told me to plead guilty when I did nothing wrong, I own my house, I was beside myself, and I kicked and broke an old window I was taking to the tip, he then got me removed and barred from my wife and kids for 12 months, and put me on a 3 year correction order as a high risk reporting every week, I went to court to have my corrections order lifted, as I had a new job, but spoke for myself this time and the judge profusely appologised for holding me on remand and for the treatment I recieved. Removed the order and dropped all charges. The only benefit out of this was it forced me to snap out of the bad depressive state I was in and get mental help.
Dont use legal aid duty solicitor mildura.
Get mental help if you need it.
