I recently went through a 9 month property settlement which was taxing and difficult. Bronte and the team were very helpful throughout the experience. Being only 25 at the time and having a very aggressive legal team against me, I appreciated the calm approach to my legal matters. At times it felt excessive and overwhelming but their approach was logical and they did the best they could to get this done in a timely manner. However, the other side did not make it easy. The team was great a navigating through some curve balls, diffusing unintentional issues with the other side and responding to my requests. I felt they understood my goal for my settlement and tried their best to keep it simple. I didn’t understand a lot of the legal process but I received the outcome I set out for when I engaged their service. We finally got there, Thanks for your help, and service through this case Bronte as well as Trent and the rest of the team.

Bronte Paton from Waller Family Lawyers is a very rude person. She wouldn’t disclose the name of the person that defamed me and should not be allowed to practice law. How she got her law degree is beyond me.
Owners response will be that I have never been a client of Waller Family Lawyers before which is true but I wouldn’t deal with them if people like Bronte Paton are hired by this business. Do yourself a favour and stay clear of this mob!

I previously had 3 different family lawyers and Waller family law made the worst time in my life easier. if I would have used them first, I would have had less stress and more money. Choosing these people is the worst choice I have made this year. Victoria and Trent did give me a good impression in the beginning which made me decide to choose this firm for my divorce financial matters. However, they didn't do well to protect me, instead they made me sign on a misleading draft agreement during the mediation. During the mediation, we spent nearly 2 hours chatting chitchat without focusing on the case and do more work for it.

I did't receive any updates after that mediation until I chased them. By then I was told they have received replied email a week ago and they have already commenced drafting the letters. I was surprised how they could draft letter for client without knowing client's intention. It must be an reason to charge more.

I was given a fixed quote in the beginning and was charged more than the quoted amount. They didn't even finish the work as quoted. Now I need to dispute with these people.

Anyone who are considering these guys, please be warned for their unethical, high charges and lazy work attitude. What they want is your easy money. They don't care about clients at all.

Ridiculously, one google review with 5 stars said exactly the same thing that I said to Victoria and Trent in the beginning. I had three solicitors before them, but now I have found that this Waller Family Lawyers is the worst one.

Trent handled a very difficult situation for me some years back, and not only was his advice timely and of the highest quality, but his personable nature made the entire process much less painful.

I still remember him telling me at the time that I'd bounce back and go on to bigger and better things, and for him to say that meant the world to me then and still does now.

Money is all they want. no respect for client.

Before you pay the money, they are nice and considerable. After that, they are very tough to client. Instead of fighting for their client, they will pursued client to do as they wanted. Of course, the solicitor's way is always high charges and less work.

I will never go to these people again. Very very bad.
