I am writing to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the incredible support and legal assistance I received from your organisation, particularly from your solicitor, Angelia.

From the moment I reached out to the Centre, I was treated with empathy, professionalism, and respect. Navigating legal issues can be overwhelming and emotionally draining, especially when you are unsure of your rights or what steps to take next. However, my experience with WSCLC was the complete opposite — it was empowering, reassuring, and, ultimately, life-changing.

Angelia, in particular, was nothing short of exceptional. I've had the displeasure of trying to deal with these people on at least 3 occasions now... no more. Everyone recommends them but I reckon they have been set up by the government as a sham to appear that they are doing something to help working class people but it's a joke.

They simply will not answer the phone and instead demand a voicemail to then call back at their leisure, on a blocked number. I suppose our privacy means nothing.

When you do manage to answer their mysterious calls during the work week, they either try to fob you off to other agencies (who are then baffled by this, as this is their role and intended purpose) or just shut you down with some truly awful advice. I just got told that the real estates failure to provide any notice or copy of a new by-law is a "weak defence" against the fine from strata, even though it is a *breachable offense* under any boilerplate standardized rental contract. You are better off searching up the laws and educating yourself, these people quite literally just have no clue what they are talking about and have zero interest in doing better.

The solicitor met me for half an hour with full information regarding the legal practice in a very effective and professional manner.

Well I'm not happy at all so far Phillip Street, Parramatta - Western Sydney Community Legal Centre. I received a call regarding assistance I needed, with a fabricated stalking claim that's being made against me by a Real Estate Agent at Premier Strata Management - Northmead NSW- Tom BLACK. I am not guilty. The Western Sydney Community Legal Centre called me back & provided what they call their Legal Advice for people like me. They told me I was a lawyer in the making. It was rather patronising. I'm not a lawyer. I last worked in Business Advertising - Complaint Resolutions. I've also worked also for the government before, I hold an RSA & have also worked at a school & in a retail store over 15 years ago now. I'm definitely not interested in becoming a lawyer. The Western Sydney Legal Centre told me I'll be right on my own at the court hearing, providing I am not guilty. Which I am definitely not guilty of any such offences at all. I received a fine for $586 regardless of being told my NOT GUILTY plea on the 29th of Jan 2025 had been accepted. I'm stumped. Tom BLACK has made deliberately false misleading claims about me not only to the police. But the NSW courts. As per my antecedents provided to proove this & states on the police issued fact sheet police told me they can definitely see also, but did tell me it's up to the courts to decide anybody's fate. For some reason Tom BLACK has been fluffing up for quite a long time now. Sending incorrect invoice amounts to Strata Scheme payer / home owners that was proven & eventually somewhat amended with assistance from the Marrickville Legal Centre where Tom BLACK refunded me & other home lot owners the discrepancy amount he had miscalculated & overcharged. But only after being contacted by my legal representative then. Prior he'd been refusing to accept responsibility for the errors on the invoices he sent & had been refusing to adjust any amounts Premier Strata Management had wrongly charged. There have been more than 3 other incidents either requiring legal aid or nearing it. In order to get Strata Managing Agent Tom BLACK. To actually do the job he's paid to & assigned to do. Manage Strata affairs. I am quite disappointed by the Western Sydney Community Legal Centres lack of aid. They told me I'll be totally fine to navigate the Legal system on my own. So I did, with as much evidence I could bring to proove my innocence. I've never stalked or intimidated or been violent & or threatening in any way to anyone. Regardless of the fact I am completely innocent. I'm being told to pay a fine now of $586 to compensate Tom BLACK, cover the court costs + pay for the stalking charge I am not even guilty of. I've never stalked Tom BLACK nor would I ever. I don't understand how in Australia a person can make deliberately false, misleading statements to police & NSW Court system & then get away with making their fabricated statements about a totally innocent person being accused of crimes they did not even commit. I'm not happy at all with the Western Sydney Community Centre & their claimed help or aid for me. I'm an innocent person now being charged with stalking charge offences I did not even commit August 2024 to now as per falsely claimed by Tom BLACK.. $586. Not good WSLC. You're no good at all.

Peter Longfield was amazing. Harsh but to the point. I wouldn't go to anyone else. It might not be what you want but in the long end it is the advice you need to hear. He spend a good 1 hour with me and took his time in understanding what were my rights and what i what action can be taken. I can tell you that other lawyers will charge and will go around the bush to make the money but Peter was clear and on facts.

I believe a large number of these reviews are very outdated. I have had case going on since December 2023 and had the pleasure of having Angela help me out with it.

Angela has been extremely informative and provides sources and links for my own reading should I wish. She has stayed on top of my case and checked in regularly with the case and also my wellbeing which I know a lot of places do not do.

Some elements of my case were time sensitive and I can honestly say Angela pushed herself to get things done, and get information ready to meet these deadlines.

I can't speak highly enough of WSCLC.

The information was current, the legal and emotional support was outstanding, and the professionalism was delightful to work with.

The organisation should be canceled, no ever helping.

1. All the 10 calls goes to voicemail and only 1 callback received.

2. Wrote the email then you can’t understand the content, I am unsure whether your company have the knowledge and qualifications to help the public with correct response and information.

Just shut it down if you are not helping for god sake!
