I started dealing with Garry over 3 decades ago. Always honest & always worked in my best interests. I will never forget when he told me to get out of his office. I was selling my business & was considering giving the purchaser a tax advantage & cost me. He was so angry with me it was though it was his money. He is a legend. His son Shane is a chip of the old block & has looked after my family & I for several years. Always takes excellent care & make sure our affairs are in order. I ring Shane whenever I am considering doing.
Sometimes when I consider crossing the road, no not quite.
Feel like family to me would totally recommend to anyone.

I have been a client of Winter and Co for 10+ years. I have taken advise from Shane Winter not only for my personal accounting matters but also for my business. I am by no means Winters biggest client but I am confident after every encounter that all my accounting needs are just as important to them as if I was. Shane takes the time listen to know me, my family and what it is we are trying to achieve with our finances and does a great job keeping our financial affairs in order. I want to be clear. This is NOT a review of the services provided, since I am NOT a client.

Long story short, I got in touch with formal intent to becoming a client and I was toyed around with for 3 weeks without any response or acknowledgement.

I called 3 times, once each week (reasonably enough time to get a response) and what seemed to be the receptionist was nice and friendly (hence two stars), but even after providing full contact details, I was completely overlooked and wasn't even sent an email as a courtesy to at least let me know that they couldn't / wouldn't be taking me and my business on as clients, which in my opinion, is particularly unprofessional to say the least.

Highly disappointing. I'm hoping that's not the way they conduct their business, but that's for someone else to find out.
