My wife scored at job with wisely and she was over the moon and it was like yes finally getting a break from bad luck. Started new job in a warehouse role at peak downs mine last week. Was literally her second day onsite and rang up the wisely office in Mackay to inquire about training days and if they were paid or not. So she spoke to a receptionist at wisely and they informed her no training is paid. 2 hours later on the same day the accounts manager for wisely rings my wife back and tells her no training days are not paid and that her employment contract has been cancelled effective immediately and accomodation at Civeo dysart has been cancelled as well. Apparently the receptionist has told the accounts manager that my wife was loud/yelling at her down the phone ( my wife is a naturally loud person unfortunately) at her. My wife never got to defend herself the accounts mangager has told her wisely does not stand for abusive/loud language (which I agree with but this is not the case) and her employment is cancelled immediately. The accounts manager has also said that her BMA Supervisor has agreed to let her go. That there is a blatant lie from the accounts manager as my wife asked her supervisor if this was true and the supervisor denied saying anything of the sort. My wife is still a mess now and won’t talk to anyone. She left a permanent job to try better our family but instead she feels that she has financially ruin us and we will be evicted from our rental house as we only have enough money for a couple more weeks rent. Wisely has had no contact with her since the phone call last Friday arvo and no official paperwork about this incident. Where’s there duty of care obviously they don’t give a shit that they have made a family homeless on one persons comment or assumption. Now my wife has locked herself away and I fear that she might self harm herself as she feels she is a failure. The laws in Australia need serious addressing as I can only imagine this has happened to other people who have worked for wisely or any other labour hire company.

Guy in a wisely Hilux opened his door hit my car that I was sitting in offered no apology just walked away. I wasn't that concerned that it now had another dent as it is an old car , just the fact that he looked straight at me and showed absolutely no remorse. Not good advertising when you are in a company Ute.
