My mum owns a unit in Alpine Gables Jindabyne, this strata scheme was grossly mismanaged by Wollongong Strata and a corrupt Alpine Gables OC. They were all just sacked by an NCAT Tribubal( Dept of Fair Trading) a few days ago and have had a strata administrator appointed by the NCAT judge. Be very aware using this strata manager, between her and the Owners Committee they have cost owners $1000's in unapproved legal fees and levies for building works that have never been undertaken.

The review by Gina and Darrel Seed below is a worry, they were on the Alpine Gables Owners Committee, hand chosen by the majority owner, a committee of only three, the other committee member being the majority owner of the units in the block.

After 20 years of unit ownership and various strata managers, Calia would have to be one of the best strata managers I have known. She is timely, thorough and has the patience of a lion. The Aura Apartments on 24 Flinders St Wollongong engaged Wollongong Strata in April 2023 as the Strata Committee was extremely disappointed with the Strata Management practices of previous Strata Management Organizations.
The Aura Apartments has seen an immediate improvement in Service with quick responses and actions put in place to deal with all issues promptly.
Wollongong Strata Management understands Strata Law extremely well and implements actions competently in compliance with those laws.
I am extremely pleased with Wollongong Strata's performance in the 7 months they have managed our complex.

Our complex has faced some difficult processes in the last year and we have been expertly assisted by our strata manager, Tanya Edwards, together with her staff at Wollongong Strata. The reply time to attend to our queries and requests could not be faster and the advice has been comprehensive. Their reach in coordinating our requests with external contractors and other professionals , as well as keeping the owners informed is exemplary.
