Well I first meet Ros a little under two years ago.. I was broken spiritually and emotionally. Ros Has a heart of gold and is over worked at times. But always gets the Job done. Family court is not for faint hearted. What a roller coaster of emotions on any Given day. There were some pretty dark days. But We are out of court Now. Ros thanks for everything some days I couldn't have made it through Without you. We can now look forward to a life without family court.I hope I never have to step in to family court ever again.

I cannot thank this wonderful office enough! I was recommended to contact Ros for what felt like a rather complex and scary issue to me. (DV related and interstate relocation).

The office always passed on my messages or responded promptly to calls and or emails.

Ros was generous with her time. She was thorough and never rushed our appointments. Ros made me feel heard.

With Ros's years and years of knowledge and experience, Ros stepped me through processes and scenarios and explained expectations of the different outcomes my situation could have gone. This helped to prepare me and to also understand the way some things work with courts and family law etc.

Ros was extremely respectful and aware of the position I was in and made me feel much more comfortable and even safe, to be honest. - So that was nice!! Ros gave me peace of mind at a time that I didn't feel very peaceful lol.

I am confident Ros would have been there every step of the way through my family law case! But thankfully, it never made it to court. Everything actually panned out just as Ros suspected it would. (No promises were ever made, however I felt confident in the advice I was provided with).

Ros really did take the pressure, stress and anxiety away from what was a really scary time for me.

Thank you Ros and team. And in the most polite way possible, I hope I never see you again! Lol. But if I do, I know I'm in good hands with WP Laywers. Thanks again.

I would give this firm no stars if I could.
Please don't waste your time & money on this law firm, your legal case will suffer because they don't & won't do what is expected of them.
Over the past year with this firm I have only been able to see my lawyer three times (I have only been able to speak to my lawyer three or four times on the phone as well) & that's not from the lack of trying.
They didn't return my calls or follow any of my instructions via email for them to email people relevant to my case. I would only find this out when I would call to follow up on the progress of my requests.
Every deadline provided by the courts to submit paperwork & affidavits has been done days late & the reason that I got was that the courts know that we submit them late, so it's ok.

When I voiced these concerns to them. I got an email saying they didn't like my rudeness in my last phone call & it won't be tolerated. And that I wasn't to call the office anymore. If I wanted to contact them it is to be done by email only.
Then three weeks later & without any contact from them, they sent me a Ceasing to Act letter (on a Friday afternoon with only minutes until they closed for the week) which means they don't want to represent me any more. Instead of fixing the poor conduct on their behalf, they waited three weeks to stable me in the back & put my case in jeopardy.

This has left me without representation & I have a court hearing in just over three weeks. I am now left scrambling to find new representation who is able to take on my case with such short notice to do so.

Please don't make the same mistake as I did & trust that they would do their best to represent you & your case.

As you can read have in the reply, they have made excuses for their behaviour. I was never rude to them let alone offensive & aggressive, their first lie. I simply pointed out that they haven't been doing their job to an appropriate standard anyone would expect or deserve. I haven't been dropped by any other firms, this is your second lie. I moved from the main Legal Aid office lawer to your firm because I live here on the Goldcoast & not in Brisbane. The reason you gave was that I wasn't following your instructions anymore, this is your third. When called to ask about the Ceasing to Act, I was told it was because i ran out of funding, your fourth lie.
It is your firm who couldn't follow & comply with instructions from their clients as they should.
I think the review & reply speak for itself as to your firms character & as reasons why no one should or would trust their legal matters with this terrible firm & lawyers.

Do not recommend at all very very bad service. Never shows up to the court hearings always ask to do it over the phone last minute . And you must attend

Personally from experience I would not recommend WP Lawyers and Ros Byrne to anyone. My experience as a client was horrible. She happily took our money and insisted we would win but in the courtroom she didn't say or do anything to help my case. I may as well have spoken for myself without her and wish I did.
Ros frequently made mistakes, forgot names and important information and was rushing to meet us for our court hearings. Nothing about WP Lawyers or Ros Byrne was professional. I hope no one else goes through the pain and suffering my family have gone through.

Refused to quote or tell me if they could help with my issue over the phone, and instead had to go in for a paid consult. no thanks. (To clarify, I never requested advice over the phone. I ended up taking my business to another firm who talked to me in a polite and professional manner so I happily gave my business to them instead.)

Went in to get costing for a property title change. Was verbally promised a quote which was not received (they later claimed additional documents were needed from us before they could complete the quote but this was not made clear at the time). I understand if you phone most lawyers for the same title transfer quote, they will quote without charge. EP later however claimed the walk-in quote engendered a 'consultation fee', although this was not discussed at the time, and please note they never provided the quote! Not worth legally fighting, paid the 'consultation fee' but my advice: steer clear and find someone else.
