My husband was attacked by a feral cat and had to visit ED , the triage nurse was lovely and very respectful she cleaned the wounds and even offered us a cup of coffee. Very happy with the way we were treated and the treatment my husband received. Thank you wyong staff.

I brought my Dad in as he had a fall and his Doctor couldn’t see him for a week.
We got here at 7 am today and we were seen by a Nurse immediately.
After a short wait his name was called for an X-ray I think the service here is wonderful ☺️

Went in with chest pains that ran down my neck, arm and through my ribs. I waited 7 HOURS and still wasn’t seen by a Dr. No communication. No check-in. No ‘you’ve got x amount of people in front of you’.
I watched people laughing and having a good time, be seen before me, despite coming in after me.
I ended up leaving in tears and in more pain than when I walked in.
I didn’t realise chest pains were so low on the priority list.

Each time we have attended Wyong Emergency for my husbands heart failure. From the moment we are greeted by triage thru to seeing the Doctors is always a good experience. Care is always as prompt as can be expected. Thank you to the staff, Nurses and Doctors for their hard work. We very much appreciate you all. The woman named Nola at the entry is always bright and caring, reassuring and welcoming such an invaluble asset to have for ppl who are scared, uncertain and in pain. Again thank you.

My elderly mum was admitted to hospital in early January 2025 and spent until April 12 there. She was a victim of Parkinson's disease, regular TIAs and regular UTIs and therefore her time there was roller coaster of good and bad days. Many times we thought we had lost her but she would rally under the mazing humanitarian care of the nurses in Geriatric C2 and Dr Naik's team. As she became more and more unwell she was put onto comfort care and slipped in and out of consciousness. Even in those last days, the nurses would chat to mum, hold her hand and generally comfort her. I cannot speak highly enough of the doctors and staff at Wyong Hospital, thank you for your loving care for my mother. Ross Davie

Was shocked to find the only three reviews openly showing were complaints! My heartfelt thanks for the patience, thoroughness and kindness shown by the very busy overstretched ED staff at Wyong Hospital. If the wait is long, it is because there are other more urgent cases. One can wait weeks to see one's own g.p. - and bless ED - they do all the scans, etc. on the spot.
A million thanks.

We want to say a huge thank you to the paramedics, nurses and doctors who looked after our very sick baby before she was transferred to Gosford hospital. Every single person we dealt with was so kind, patient and made sure we knew what was going on all of the time. All of you do a wonderful job with the lack of resources that you have to deal with and how busy our hospital system has become! Thank you!
