I mean I don't know how to rate this building? It's the federal department of health? It seems like a really nice building to work in. Coffee was pretty awesome in the downstairs cafe. The people who work there are super chill and really just super nice folk.

Probably my favourite government department in the ACT. You know. If I had to pick one.

Great building to work from - no longer based here, but the offices are great. Well thought out workspaces, with plenty of room for meetings etc.

They've also included a spot to lock up your bike (secure area) and good shower and locker facilities.

The best part of the office is the location - a 5 min stroll up to the shops at Woden. Plenty of shopping options/ability to run chores you can't normally do during business hours.

Space Cafe has some of the most delicious food for breakfast and lunch. I was after a sweet french toast, or a fruit based breakfast and they delivered.... So good!

Omg, the lifts, seriously just replace them!! They have some superfluous, "modern" lift system where you press the floor you want to go to, but the lift wants to be ultra efficient so you have to wait until another 10 people are going the same direction as you because it will only run if it's a full lift. This means if you choose to use the lift (as opposed to the stairs) you will frequently be waiting 5-10 minutes for a lift!! It's unheard of and super frustrating!
Walking past this place in the morning is a joke, the queue for the lift is 50 metres long!! Even if you're on the top floor and carrying 50kg of bags, it's faster taking the stairs and having a shower when you get there rather than using the lift.

The best peeps in the Universe work in this building, so it's pretty damned good! Five stars. It desperately needs free parking though! So, um, back to one star. The giant pear/teardrop thing on the corner that glows pretty colours in the dark is a respectable piece of public art, which is probably worth another two stars at least...but if it was wearing a giant three wolf moon T-shirt that also glowed in the dark, then that would obviously be TEN or even 11 stars...but alas, this is not the case, so minus three stars. It's a million times prettier than that ugly Battlestar Galactica thing on Easty street, which adds two stars by the theory of relativity, but minus 6 stars for being in a city that gets to minus 9 in the winter. I guess that should be minus 9 stars, but whatever... this place is actually cool! #lovelypear
