Fiona made sure she listened to my life story so she was able to give me the best advice for my situation. Of course, she reviewed the Will I had & was bold enough to rename it for me to 'My Shit Will'!! Her humour was an added bonus to the meeting & lots of laughs were had.
Well I was determined that I needed to structure things a certain way, but Fionas' advice was clear & unmovable.
I'm pleased to say I took her advice & am very pleased with the end result & am positive I have the best plan for my estate. I highly recommend Fiona & am thankful for her very professional attention to details.

I’ve used Fiona a couple of times now to do my will when my life circumstances have changed. I’ve found her caring and understanding and genuinely interested in what I have to say. She’s thorough and asked questions to help me put together a will that will do what I need when I’m gone. I felt genuinely comfortable discussing the more difficult questions in life and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for an Estate planner. I really like that she comes to my house rather than me needing to visit an office during business hours. That really helps a busy Mum!

We found Fiona as she was recommended on a Facebook mums group, and I now know why. What a lady - will spend all the time necessary to find out and work out what you want/need for your family, through the simple and complicated and the crazy she will help with it all. Due to personal experiences I strongly believe everyone needs a will, advance care directives and power of attorney, as you never know what’s around the corner. Having someone like Fiona walk you through it you know it’s been done right. But also keep in mind that as life changes these documents need review and updating, which means you have an excuse to spend more time with Fiona in the future.

Im not dead yet, so I can't give you evidence that my Estate has been dispersed without a hitch. However, I do feel well prepared, receive ongoing updates on 'legal changes', have a place to store my Will and docs, continue to understand how I can best prepare my Executor and beneficiaries. I have an email folder of to-do's Ive saved from Fiona's newsletter ... ie. I will write down the phone numbers of friends and family, account numbers and passwords so that my Executor has everything in one place. I'm still deciding what style of funeral Ill have but you can bet it wont be boring!

Being a Fiona too, I may be biased but Fiona Shilton was a delight to work with as my husband and I updated our wills. She has knowledge, heart and humour and provided excellent advice, making the whole process so easy and often entertaining!
